McCaffrey Custom Construction is committed to utilizing green building materials and practices on all of our jobs. By building green, we provide a healthier indoor environment for our clients and ourselves, as we are often exposed through our work to so many toxic materials. In addition to the health benefits, we also provide potential cost savings over current standard practices as well as create additional value to the home’s resale value in most cases.

Green building practices are designed to reduce the overall impact of the materials/structure on the environment as well as on human health. This is done so by using materials made with non-toxic or less toxic ingredients, using sustainably harvested materials, installing energy efficient and water conserving appliances and fixtures, as well as recycling waste from the job rather than bringing it to a landfill. Our goal through utilizing green building practices is to create a more environmentally responsible home and jobsite through:
